Let's Go Flying!!

That's all I have to say: Hermès!

They have officially brought the aviator look to the rtw section in fashion!!

John Galliano

By far, John Galliano's Fall 2009 RTW line has been the most extravagant I've seen!  It is far from being ready-to-wear clothing. Don't get me wrong, I L O V E the line and how dramatic it is .  But that is why I am so amazed by his line; it is always like this; its an actual show with dramatic lights, the staging, confetti, etc.

Having all the embellishments, flowing silhouettes, and the knee-high platform sandals made the collection different from any other for the fall season.
True enough, that is what a designer wants, BUT for Galliano, he went above and beyond the normal ready-to-wear stereotype.
Even John came out in couture!!! Waaaaay beyond ready-to-wear!

Sequence is Back

Balmain (one of my favorite designers), 3.1 Philip Lim, & Emilio Pucci have made the little sequined dress a must have for the fall season this year. Most of the designs are like pull over t-shirts (they are minidresses) but with this look of glamour attached to it.

Will every woman be able to wear them? No. There are other pieces besides the minidress that will have the sequence on it.
I personally do not like sequence but I have to keep in mind that I will not be wearing
